Angel

The VFX supervisor, Angelo White, gathered a talented team to discuss how to create the whimsical atmosphere that the story demanded. They brainstormed ideas for the enchanting moments when Angel’s wishes would come true, focusing on how to visualize the magic without overshadowing the emotional weight of her journey. The team decided that each wish would manifest with distinct visual signatures, using colorful light trails and sparkling particles to evoke a sense of wonder.

After a completely failed presentation at school, a sad Angel rushes home, feeling upset and disheartened. She struggles with feelings of disappointment as she rides her bike through the park, wishing for something magical to happen to lift her spirits. Suddenly, she loses her balance and falls off her bike, landing in a soft patch of grass.

As she brushes herself off, she notices an old-fashioned clock lying nearby, its hands frozen in time. Intrigued, she picks it up and examines its intricate design, feeling an unexpected connection to it. Not long after, she discovers that when she makes a wish while holding the clock, it miraculously comes true.
